I thought I would stick with this cheesy title... I kind of like it. This week, I finished up a granny striped cowl for a friend who has an awesome coat that we call the granny couch coat. I thought it was only fitting that she have a granny cowl to go with it. It was the first time I didn't use a pattern, and it turned out perfect. I was thinking about sharing how I did it, but I'm not sure I possess the skill to write a crochet pattern out!
I made pillows for the
chairs in our living room, but I thought they needed something more so added a little crochet applique. This was my first time crocheting a motif. They're kind of fun to do, and I think I may try my hand at a doily soon!
